Red Carpet Launch PartyIn April 2026, during Earth Month, CBC Manitoba and Generation E will roll out the red carpet for the Youth Video Challenge Premiere Event. The top 10 finalist videos will hit the big screen in front of friends, families, educators, and the community. Prizes will be awarded for 1st place, 2nd place, and the People’s Choice Award—where YOU get to help pick the winner!
Location & date: To be announced – at Fort Whyte Alive – Earth Day Celebrations! Time TBA! More details to follow soon.

Who Can Participate?This challenge is open to all Manitoba high school students in grades 5-12. You can sign up as an individual or as part of a group. Participants are also asked to complete a short questionaire and parental consent form with video submission. Submit your video by April 10, 2026.
PrizesPrizes will be awarded to the winning schools to support classroom resources, school improvements, or your next climate action project!
There are two prize categories:
