This exciting initiative connects high school students from Manitoba with influencers and changemakers from across Canada. The challenge runs from Fall 2024 to Spring 2025 and includes:

2nd Prize: $1,200

- Workshops on climate change and achieving net zero emissions.
- Training in storytelling and video editing.
- The opportunity to create and share a video on social media.

In partnership with the Manitoba’s Climate Action team, we invite educators and classrooms to participate in the Manitoba’s Road to Resilience (R2R) Design Challenge Project.
Winners of the challenge will receive a $500 climate action fund for their school, to be used for furthering climate action! Students or classroom designs can be submitted to Manitoba’s Climate Action Team and Educators for Climate Action Manitoba no later than 11:59pm on April 11, 2025.
Submissions should include a short video (2 mins or less) and 2-3 photos describing the project learning and what students designed or created. Open to elementary to high students/classes.
The challenge winner will be chosen based on their demonstration of innovation and creative solutions related to carbon reduction and climate resilience in Manitoba.
