Mission Statement

ECAM Aims to:

• Provide high quality, frequent and inspirational professional development opportunities (both in-person and virtual) that will empower educators new to climate action, and expand the confidence and breadth of expertise for those educators with prior experience in this area.

• ​Create and expand a professional community among Manitoba educators striving to implement urgent climate action in their classrooms, schools, and communities. 

​

• Bridge the gap between educators and community partners who can offer support with implementing urgent climate action in classrooms and schools.

​

• Advocate for urgent climate action initiatives in education across Manitoba.
